Lacey is originally from Sulphur Springs, Texas, and holds a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science and Technology with a teaching option from Texas A&M University–Commerce. Before joining Southwest Dairy Farmers, she worked as an agriculture science teacher. Lacey first joined the organization while attending college, working with Southwest Dairy Farmers from 2004 to 2007 before returning to the team in 2021.

Lacey has a deep passion for agriculture and the dairy industry and wholeheartedly believes in the mission of Southwest Dairy Farmers. In her role, she coordinates school tours and meetings, oversees the Southwest Dairy Museum, manages the organization's merchandising inventory, and helps support many of the day-to-day operations. Her goal is to continue growing within the organization while serving wherever she is needed.

Outside of work, Lacey enjoys traveling with her husband and their three children. Their family especially loves snow skiing and takes every opportunity to hit the slopes. She also enjoys cheering on her children as they show livestock, participate in sporting events, and perform on the piano. A fun fact about Lacey is that she was crowned Texas Brown Swiss Miss for 1999–2000.
